PK USA Announces New Plant Expansion
Today PK USA announced its sixth expansion since starting operations in this country in 1989. The 39,400-square-foot facility located in Canton Mississippi, with a 70 person workforce was originally part of Oxford Automotive.  After Oxford faced bankruptcy in 2004, the facility was operated by Nissan North America, Inc.

This expansion only strengthens our working relationship with our primary customer and complements our current operations in Shelbyville, Indiana, or Gallatin, Tennessee. We will continue to enjoy a positive working relationship in both communities.”

The parent company of PK U.S.A., Inc. is Press Kogyo Co., Ltd. one of Japan's largest independent automotive parts manufacturers, which owns 75% share.  Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Tokyo, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.), Inc., both comprehensive trading and investment enterprises, hold a 25% combined share.

PK USA with annual sales of $150 million is the primary supplier of metal body parts, chassis parts and plastic injection parts for automotive companies throughout the world.
